So....how was the conference?
Pretty typical. A bunch of mostly men sitting in a dark room watching power point slides, and sharing war stories about "the storm of 19XX" and wearing their ham call sign somewhere on their person. The information was good, and I always love the Super Storm Spotter session. It all comes together a bit more every time.
But the best line came after the conference. My co-worker asked me "So, Marcia, how was your bad weather conference?"
LOL :)
Still living in their glory days, huh? Pretty soon, though, you'll be able to join them with your very own ham cell sign and certificate!
