Discovery

English grammar texts of the early 1800s in America taught reformed theology. No seeker-sensitive churches to be found in the colonies, it would seem. An Arminian would probably have failed this grammar lesson.

Wow.

We think we are so much brighter in our day, but I tend to think they were smarter back then.

If America doesn't get its act together, I'm thinking God may do something. he still rules all nations, and He raises up, and tears down.

I pray for a great awakening, greater than all the others. May His name be glorified. Amen.

My beloved and I homeschool and books like this make up part of my library.

One of our greatest failings as a church and a nation is that we've bought into the idea that technical advances make us so much smarter than our forefathers.
