English grammar texts of the early 1800s in America taught reformed theology. No seeker-sensitive churches to be found in the colonies, it would seem. An Arminian would probably have failed this grammar lesson.Wow.

First and foremost, a sinner saved by grace. Young woman grappling with the physical and emotional rigors of adulthood. Living the life I never wanted, and loving every minute of it. Giving every moment to God and trusting in His providence. And running the race for the imperishable crown, only to one day cast it at the feet of Him who won it for me.

We think we are so much brighter in our day, but I tend to think they were smarter back then.
If America doesn't get its act together, I'm thinking God may do something. he still rules all nations, and He raises up, and tears down.
I pray for a great awakening, greater than all the others. May His name be glorified. Amen.
